Dungeness in Kent is a very special and unique landscape. It is Britain’s only desert and it hosts some rare wildlife, alongside a Nuclear Power Station, two Lighthouses a historic narrow guage railway and a Nature Reserve. This painting shows the newer lighthouse to the left with the power station in the right distance and the shingle dunes in the foreground.
I painted this in my studio from sketches made on location last summer, at Dungeness.
It is about one hours drive from my studio.
I painted it on best quality paper by Saunders Waterford and it comes to you, set behind a quality mount board, wrapped in cellophane and with a signed certificate of authenticity, so it will make a lovely gift for anyone who knows or loves the area. I have signed it in the lower right corner.
Image size: 13″ wide x 9 1/4″ high (330mm x 234mm)
The price includes FREE post and packing to UK addresses.
For overseas postage, the mount board ‘may’ have to be removed.
I will pack it securely and flat, between two strong boards and I have a 100% safe arrival record.
Do you or a friend know Dungeness? This may bring back happy memories.
Thank you for showing an interest in my work.
