The Jetty and old lifeboat house and lookout, at Broadstairs SOLD

An indian ink and watercolour drawing of the Jetty, Broadstairs.

This is an Original Indian Ink and Watercolour Drawing of Broadstairs. It is a popular seaside resort on the east coast of Kent, not far from my home and studio. It shows the jetty, the old Lookout and Lifeboat house, which really leans over like that, and the town behind, with ‘Bleak House’ dominating the scene. Charles Dickens used to holiday here and write, away from the pressures of London. I drew it with a traditional dip pen and Indian Ink and gave it some colour with watercolours.┬áIt comes set behind a cream mount, wrapped in cellophane and with a signed certificate of authenticity, so It will make a lovely gift for a special person.
Image size: 13 1/2″ wide x 10″ high (342mm x 254mm)
The price includes FREE post and packing to UK addresses.
For overseas buyers, the mount board ‘may’ have to be removed.
I will pack it myself, securely and flat, between two strong boards, and I have a 100% safe arrival record.
