I have painted some more meadows for you, looking the other way along the river Wantsum, towards a pump house. It is designed to adjust the water levels and protect the meadows from flooding. Below are more low lying meadows and on a walk in some woods nearby, I came upon these large puddles. They, always make interesting subjects, with their reflections and the sunlight glancing through the trees.
Another bridge here is brick built, again crossing the river Stour, at Shalmsford Street, where a mother and child are feeding the ducks.
I’ll leave you with a short demo of me painting another bridge in oils. This time in Venice, where I long to return one day. Enjoy, and do check out my other videos in You Tube.
