I painted this view of a redundant coal mine pit head, at Chatterley Whitfield in North Staffordshire.
It was a warm summer day and I was with about fifty artist friends, all wearing hard hats.
This original painting measures 14” x 10” unframed, but comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. It would make a lovely gift for old coal miners and their families.
