Here I am at the preview of the RBA exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London
Many of you will know that I have spent the last ten years or more trying to improve the quality of my paintings. One way an artist can test their skill levels is by entering competitions organised by the various professional bodies. In recent years I have been submitting my best works to them.
I am now delighted to say that this oil painting was accepted into the Royal Society of British Artists 2024 exhibition.
I found out that over 4600 entries vied for the 200 places available to the open call for non members.
If you are in London, do try to visit the exhibition, which showcases some of the very best of contemporary art including sculpture.

At the preview, I took the opportunity to meet up and chat with some of the members and fellow exhibitors and also some visitors and buyers who are regulars at these exhibitions. It was a really lovely afternoon.
